Instructions for 3 Way Switch Stand

The switchstand comes with two brass throwbar extensions, four mounting screws and four throwbar screws.

Referring to the photo above, which shows the throwbar extensions removed from their proper location,

1)       Attach the switchstand to the headblock ties using the pilot holes provided.

2)       Screw the long throwbar extension to the lower holes in the switchstand mechanism and the throwbar. The predrilled holes are not threaded but made to an interference fit for the screw. Carefully insert the screw until it is almost snug, then back it off  a ¼ turn, to allow movement between the throwbar and extension. The interference fit will keep the screw in place.

3)       Do the same for the short extension in the upper holes. The switch should now be operable.
